Schedule Management
The Schedule Management tool lets you create and manage shifts for your team. Navigate to Manage > Schedule to access it.
Viewing the Schedule
View the team schedule for a given period. You can navigate between weeks or dates to see who is scheduled where and when.
Schedule Periods
Create schedule periods to define scheduling windows. Periods help organize when shifts can be created and when the schedule is considered "locked" or open for edits.
Creating Shifts
Automatic Generation
Shifts can be generated automatically based on:
- Employee contracts
- Weekly work patterns defined in contracts
Employees with contracts and week patterns can have shifts auto-generated for the schedule period.
Manual Creation
Create shifts manually by specifying:
- Employee
- Store
- Date
- Start time
- End time
Shift Templates
Use shift templates for quick shift creation. Templates let you quickly add common shift patterns without re-entering the same details each time.
Deleting Shifts
Delete shifts that are no longer needed. Removed shifts are no longer counted toward hours or schedule coverage.
Contract-Based Scheduling
When employees have contracts with defined week patterns, the system can auto-generate shifts that follow those patterns. This reduces manual work and ensures consistency with contractual terms.
