Task Configuration
Customize task statuses and labels.
Task Configuration
Task configuration lets you customize how tasks are organized and categorized. Navigate to Settings > Task Statuses or Settings > Task Labels to access these options.
Task Statuses
Task statuses define the workflow stages for tasks. They control how tasks progress from creation to completion.
Default Statuses
Default statuses might include:
- To Do
- In Progress
- Done
Creating Custom Statuses
Create custom statuses with:
- Name
- Color (for visual identification on boards and lists)
Workflow Order
Reorder statuses via drag-and-drop to define the workflow order. The order affects how tasks move through their lifecycle and how they appear on the board.
Deleting Statuses
Delete statuses you no longer need. Ensure no active tasks use that status before deleting, or move them to another status first.
Task Labels
Task labels categorize tasks with tags. Labels help you filter and group tasks by type or priority.
Creating Labels
Create labels with:
- Name
- Color
Examples
Common label examples include:
- Bug
- Feature
- Maintenance
- Urgent
Editing and Deleting
Edit or delete labels as needed. Deleting a label removes it from tasks that were using it.
Scope
Statuses and labels are company-wide. They appear in all task views and apply to all stores and team members.
