Shift Templates

Shift templates are reusable definitions that speed up schedule creation. Instead of entering shift details every time, you select a template and apply it.

Availability

Shift Templates are available to managers and admins only.

Accessing Shift Templates

Navigate to Manage > Shift Templates in the app.

Creating a Template

Create a new template with:

• Name — A descriptive name (e.g., "Morning Shift", "Closing Shift")
• Start time — When the shift begins
• End time — When the shift ends
• Break duration — Optional break time (in minutes)

Using Templates

When creating schedules, select a template instead of manually entering times. The start time, end time, and break duration are filled in automatically, saving time and reducing errors.

Managing Templates

• Edit — Update a template's name or times as needed
• Delete — Remove templates that are no longer used

Per-Store Templates

Templates are per-store. Each store can have its own set of shift templates. This lets different stores define shifts that match their operating hours and needs.
